A day spent on the banks of the river Ganga, with the breeze flowing through the hair, the occasional touch of the sun on the unshielded skin, and the company of people who poured their hearts out through words and music. A group of people full of love for life in their hearts gathered together at Sangam, to feel the “India” in them on the special day on Independence day of the country. Others also joined the group over time including children, ex poets and sadhus. The presence of Mr. Agarwal, our Patron, who is a constant source of support for us, and Mrs Naqvi, who was our special guest and encouraged the Sangamwasi Team with her presence as well, made the evening all the more special.

Here are some of the moments from the beautiful Day

I am a teacher of Psychology by day and a writer by night. I was born in Allahabad, and have lived here ever since. This city has nurtured me, groomed me, loved me and infuriated me at times as well. I owe much to her. I am a passionate writer, poet and learner of a few other modes of expression like photography and would like, some day, to be known by these. I want to live it all.
